greenhouse from entrance

Greenhouse viewed from west entrance with black barrels of water for heat storage. Styrofoam
shutters are stored on a rack at the upper left of the photo and can be used to cover the glass roof
and windows to help conserve heat.

greenhouse-west view

Greenhouse from east end showing doors to atrium and main greenhouse. The atrium helps avoid loss
of heat when entering and leaving the building, as it may be closed off from both the main building
and from the main area of the greenhouse.

The amount of heat entering the main building is controlled by opening or closing the windows, the
door, the transom, and low vents between the main building and the greenhouse. Ceiling vents also
control the amount of heat allowed to flow to the upstairs area. Shown is the print making area.
